Senior Home Care & Alzheimer's Solutions and Dementia Training Solutions are hosting the Living with Dementia 2023 Conference at Embassy Suites across from Destiny USA on Tuesday, October 24.
Their goal is to provide everyone in Central New York with local resources that they can use to help them and their families who are living with and affected by Dementia. There are so many free or low-cost resources, but they are not easy to find because they are not advertised. This conference is for professional and family caregivers, or anyone interested in learning more about dementia care. Cost is $35 per person, which includes admission to the conference, lunch and a resource book. Visit Next Chapter Brewpub on August 25th and September 16th to enjoy some jazz!
Our own Warren Robinson, a long time member of our church, plays trumpet in the band. Drop in to show him support -- and have an enjoyable evening.
Not even the heat will keep the people of God from being the hands and feet of Jesus!
On Thursday, July 7, a group from Immanuel paired with the Camillus Police Department, Home Depot, and Operation Northern Comfort to build a ramp for a local couple in need. The ramp will be installed on Saturday. This story made the news on Channel 9. Pastor Jack's response to seeing the article was, "It was a great effort accomplished by good folks dedicated to serving in Jesus' name! Doesn't get any better than that!" Many thanks to all who participated.
