On Sunday, October 29, Gary Merckel and Mike Block, members of Immanuel and also volunteer fire fighters, shared a fire safety message with our children and the congregation. Fire Safety Escape Plan Create an Escape Plan with your family. You may only have 2 minutes or less to escape a house fire once it starts. According to the Red Cross, only 26% of families have a fire escape plan in place. Take time to make one - it can be a fun family activity! Tips for Creating Your Escape Plan

And, share it with others! Our church's volunteers stepped up to fulfill a vital need, installing a new lift for a Bridgeport family. We are so blessed by the opportunity to extend a helping hand to those in need in our community.
On October 29, 2023, we celebrated with Carl on the anniversary of his birth.
Immanuel United Methodist On October 15th the Greater Syracuse Hunger Walk took place at Onondaga Lake Park. Immanuel raised $1,100.00.
Thanks to everyone who contributed; your donations will help feed people around the block and around the world. On Sunday, October 8, 2023, we had our second 2nd Sunday lunch. There was added fun to this event by hosting our annual Chili/Chowder/Soup Cook off. Many delicious entries were provided as well as many "taste testers" who cast their votes for their favorites.
Each winner was awarded with a food-inspired gift basket. \ Thanks to all who participated!
